Here's an outrageously colorful specimen of CHALCANTHITE, a secondary copper mineral frequently found in effluents near copper mines (although this specimen was grown in a laboratory setting in Poland). We picked up this very dramatic and unique lab-grown specimen out in Tucson, AZ from a Polish dealer, who had a few pieces like this that were gemmy and clear (in the past his chalcanthite was brightly colored but opaque). I can't think of any other mineral that elicits as strong an "Oh, Wow!" reaction as chalcanthite, and this piece is really an exceptionally fine example.

This is probably one of the crystals I have tons of cuz it's so bright, shiny, and gorgeous, yet very sharp and dangerous!This one can be FREE TO YOU AS WELL, as long as you're the best bidder!

Well, i could be better as well. Mom's got Alzheimers and it has reared its ugly big time and I'm a wreck. Actually at the hospital as i type this. Please take care of yourself Debby. Does that mean you're trip is off? Wasn't jt in March ?

Yes, but I too have been grounded. I'm sitting home with an IV of Rocephin (antibiotic, very very strong) for the past 3 days and indefinitely till this bacterial infection leaves my bloodstream, which it had best do soon or I'm in serious trouble.

I am sickened to hear your mom has Alzheimer's!!! Not Only is it a painful illness, it is probably the most evil and cruel disease ever robbing you of your loved ones, your memories your entire being. That to me has to be the most frightening of all! How old id she?? My mom was 70 when she started the first signs of it. It sounds awful but I'm glad we lost her before it robbed her.Oh hun, if there is anything I can do, other than pray, please let me know, and please keep m up to date... xoxoxoxooxi I'm soooo sorry!!! ))))))))))))HUGS((((((((((((

She's 77. Yes this is a very horrible disease. One that i have to admit that prior to this recent personal experience, had absolutely no idea to the degree of it's severity and how many people are affected by it. Thanks for the kind heart-felt words. They are appreciated xoxo
