Oh, I bet you have some real pretty ones! I never knew what an art form these were until just recently. The history is so interesting. There are so many different types, styles, and shapes...and can be made with so many different types of materials. Some are just so extravagant.. absolutely gorgeous, intricate pieces. I like the simple design of this one.. and the funny gourd shape, lol. But I'd love to get my hands on one of the jeweled or gemstone snuff bottles.. with the pretty scrollwork and detailed carvings. Gosh, they can run in the many thousands depending on the age and the artwork. What a great item to collect.. good choice! :)
