This large (6" long) laser has a purple beam! On some surfaces it can also look deep blue! Runs on 2 "AAA" batteries (not included) instead of button cells. Can be seen up to 5 miles!

What's the mW on it and can it pop a balloon

It is 5 mWs & no, it won't pop a balloon as far as I know. Although the manufacturers claim it can be seen up to 5 miles away, I have never tested it. I do know that I can sit in the living room & my cat & pup chase it all the way into the bedroom in the back. I can see the beam as well as the point of contact so, maybe no balloon popping but, definitely could cause damage if pointed at eyes. I really should have put that in the description. Thank you so much for asking! Those are important questions!

Thank you. You could be right. Since I've never tried, I just don't know for sure. I'd love to find out though. Because my animals could too easily choke on latex, I don't keep that kind of balloon around. Of course, just try to get me to give up my giant radio controlled helium filled shark, whale or Angry Bird! Ha! Those balloons stay!!! And no! I will not aim my laser at them to find out! I'm not THAT curious! Lol.

Thank you! I will definitely be ordering more purple very soon. We reopen market in May & I have to have them before we do. I actually ran out before the season's end last year so, already have customers waiting. I plan to add more green this year as well. I'm trying to make a deal with one of my shippers for the ones with the special lens covers. They give you 3 different options including one that looks like a honeycomb. So cool!
