Hi Sweetie...A great expose about the perils of gonorrhea -- STD's, etc. In the novel the men keep their women in the dark about this. Women were treated as slaves to do the bidding of the men. It is really a racy novel for it times..( I still equate Upton Sinclair with a rabid turn of mind).
