One thing I have learned in life. I am not too big to say I am sorry. Sometimes I tend to bite a little too hard and quick, when I choose a different path. If I ever seem sharp or hurt someone's feelings on here. Please let me know. It is usually without knowing it and not because I mean to, but I am will gladly do the right thing and tell you, "I'm sorry." Too many Listians don't care, but I do." =)

How old are the paints? Have any of them been used? Thanks!

Hopefully, this will answer your question. If I had put new items in this auction, it would have been too high and many would not have had the opportunity to bid on it. I want people to learn about art, which is my first and most wonderful love.

None of the paints are "old." The only paints that this would pertain to are the acrylics and they are all fairly new and very creamy. All of the acrylics have been used, but still have a more than sufficient amount left win them.

Watercolor paints do not have the type of binder makes them unusable with age. Even though none of the tubes of watercolors are harden in this auction, a hardened tube of watercolor paint can be cut open, mixed with water, put into pans, and dried again for use.

Some of the watercolor paints are used and some are new. The quinacridones, the Chinese watercolors, and two Grumbachers are all new.

The majority of these items are artist's grade and thus expensive. If they were all new, I would have had to make a much small and higher priced auction with little leeway for negotiation on amount of price and without all the extras.

Not meaning to sound mean, but the even with some used paints, this auction is worth a lot more than the GIN value, especially if the GIN is used. I try hard to make certain that the value of my big auctions supercede their price.

I'm still not quite thee, but I'm working on it. Really nice auction. Anyone who thinks otherwise is not a nice person. Besides, no one has to bid on anything, it is completely voluntary, and if I can get enough credits, I will volunteer to GIN! GREAT STUFF!

Your welcome. I am going to add some items to the GIN. It really is worth the amount of the GIN and more. I don't think I can lower it now that there is a bid on it.
