You have got to be kidding me! I know you're being nice, but who in the heck does Lauren367 think she is telling you what to do, ESPECIALLY to list it for the amount she wants. I am shaking my head. I don't believe you are on Listia to accommodate anyone's inability to secure the credits necessary to win an auction.

Always remember, when anyone asks you to lower the days or to set a GIN (whenever you get your seller's wings) it is for one of three reasons, and generally it's the first. The person knows the auction will sell for more credits than they have, they don't want to wait (as in they want the item now), or they are new and don't know their butts from a hole in the ground. The first and third go together because so many people who are new don't sell and unless you buy credits, which I think is crazy, you have to complete a boatload of offers in order to earn credits.

I seriously can not believe someone actually told you to do a - it's called a GIN - for 3,500 credits. I'm pretty sure Lauren367 is new and doesn't understand how things work, which is exactly those who are new need to look at featured and other auctions to see how they're listed, read comments and more comments, and message people, who might be willing to help, to ask questions. Sorry for going off on a dissertational soapbox, lol. I am entirely sure most people don't know what that means. I do make up words that a real word should exist for. Dissertational - maybe it is a word; I'll check, but take perfectionist for example. I tend to be perfectionistic, however this is not a real word. I make up words that makes more sense (to me ; ) Good luck with your auction!

You are very welcome. I view it as a public service - I just cracked myself up. Seriously though, you will find that the Lidiots will drive you crazy. I guess it's a matter of not letting them get to you, which is something I am not at all good at doing. When you are extremely contentious and go above and beyond, it is very difficult to deal with people who lack basic consideration for others. I'm also highly sensitive by nature and haven't yet learned how to be less reactive to things that push my buttons. I really need to acquire a few skills though as I would save myself so much time and energy that could be spent on almost anything else - I'm laughing at myself again.

Fanning you, btw. I think the whole fanning thing is weird but when I fan someone or write "F&W@tching" I do so from a place of respect, as weird as I know that sounds. I had to make some sense of the whole weird fanning thing. I clearly need to get some sleep tonight!
