hey terrence ive noticed you and a couple other guys on here are kinda the pros when it comes to cards. i started collecting for my son recently mostly autos but im starting to grab more of a variety of stuff including older stuff like mantle Arron and so on. do you have any tips for a new collector? my son is 2 and my goal is to have a decent collection for him by the time he is ready to start collecting with dada. i want to try and give him a collection that will have value and also be fun. i was going to message you but thought others may get something out of your answer if you decide to give advice so here it is lol. my two main things i really go for are autos and graded cards at the moment and anything mantle or jordan. thanks again.

Can't go wrong with vintage especially notable hall of famers who for the most part retain most value even if it doesn't go up. I would snatch up as many griffeys as I can while they are relatively cheap before he gets the nod and his cards skyrocket. Stay away from Rookies and prospects if you're on a budget. If you have the money gamble away, on the usual suspects. Be careful though. I lost thousands investing in David Wilson.

really good night tonight my listia card pros lol. i bought a little $20 box of football packs from wall mart as a end of the week treat. was one of those 15 random packs boxes well just pulled a eddie lacy rc auto and like 5 relics!!
