"CSL9 1976 - Clydesdales Team & Wagon lidded stein. This 5 3/4" lidded stein was made in Brazil by Ceramarte. Features the eight horse hitch with cases and barrels on the wagon. Reddish line around the top and bottom. This version has the hammered or pounded pewter flat lid with a ball type thumbrest, that rests against the hinge. The other version has a smooth flat lid. *** BEWARE of steins that have had the lid replaced with the lid from a 1/2L OLYMPIA BEER 5 7/8" lidded stein made around the same time period. You will notice the thumbrest sits up from the hinge, not resting on it. *** Incised ST LOUIS,MO & Budweiser® Champion Clydesdales lettering, below the wagon. Did not come boxed."

That is not true. If you read my reply, YOU would have seen that I bought them used. And i only list or buy or sell items that are truly authentic. So, let's guess! Buying used, I guess that would mean there is always a certificate??? Well ONLY if the person or Place had the Original Box & paperwork. I am very glad you are not bidding. And as well, you will not be even looking at nor bidding on any of my future auctions. There is no "crime" in asking questions. But, failing to understand & ask more, then calling names, makes you a Member of my Block Party:)

Because I researched it on several sites & verified the exact color of the horses reins, "costume" etc, contents of wagon, size, lettering & colors of lettering, font of lettering, maker's co. & origin
and all details of this "Stein"
that clearly make it a 1976 Budweiser Clydesdale's Authentic Lidded Stein. As well, I have owned this and another for over 17 years and it was used when I obtained them. I do my research on items I buy to keep, and possibly decide later to sell, or trade( as in this case) if you know exactly what to look for, it is not hard to "date" many types of Vintage items. I have also had a good 25 years of experience with Vintage & Older items, clothing & Jewelry. Thanks.

Well, if you bought it 17 years ago, then you would have a certification piece of paper stating that its authentic! Without authenticity I will not be building and if you are bidding on this item you are a fool.
