Great auction! Is the cane soft or hard? It says to bake your own so I am wondering.

Thank you,
The instructions on back say
"Conditioning, the Friendly Clay
Millefiori Cane, will have to be
Conditioned slightly b-4 proceeding. Hold in hand gently or set in sunny location for a few
Minutes. Excessive heat will damage the clay.
In hand just a few minutes. Ok?

The package contains a sample, and then the role of red, white and blue. I believe the package says it makes 20?
Hope that helps a little.
