I have 500gb PS3 slim. In good cosmetic condition but will not stay on. I looked online and some said it could be dusty. I did open and dust it like said and it still doing the same thing. So I just gave up and bought my son another one. I don't know what's wrong with it but worked great one day and the next won't stay on. No controller included, but I am including the free game that came with it. You can see in last photo.

Sounds like the motherboard separated from one of the other connection, had the same thing happen to mine, it is a fairly easy fix

Your right its comes on and a red light bliks and then turns off.

Does it stay on for a second or two and then get blinking red light, yellow light,or does it just not turn on at all??
