The listing, PS4 PlayStation 4 for Repair, tech special...GIN has ended.

This is a parts only ps4 console, it needs to be repaired. If you plug it in and touch the power on contact it will power on for a second or two, the fan will spin and it will shut off with a blue flashing led and beep, the console is missing its hard drive and top case housing. It does not come with anything else but what is pictured in the pics.

I bought the console like this without its upper case housing.

I am havent an idea what is exactly wrong... I am only an amateur at best....this is broken and being sold as a parts or repair unit. The HDMI port is secure.

I really have no idea, I was going to wait and see if a fix comes up on the internet but it seems the most common fix would be to reball and reflow the graphics apu. I cannot say whether that would fix it though. Since I don't know the exact problem. I only know that it acts like the ylod from the ps3 era.

There can be housing kits purchased on eBay and I'm sure there are modding kits sold elsewhere with different housing colors.
