Size
It reaches a mature height between 20 and 40 feet, with a spread of between 20' & 35'.
Foliage
The flower of the golden rain tree is found in large terminal panicles that grow as large as almost 12 inches diameter. They turn yellow in the fall and shed.

Seed Pods
The golden rain tree is extremely well known for bladder-like seed pods that have paper-thin skin and contain small black seeds. At first these seed pods start out green or orange-tan. The seed pods then transform into a reddish color before they turn gray-tan. The seed pods only have three sides, and the seeds themselves range from 1 1/4 to 2 inches in diameter.

Habitat

The golden rain tree grows best in full to partial sun, and well-drained, moist, rich and deep soils is best for them. But the golden rain tree can also adapt to poor and compact soils and soils with various pH levels.
