NO LOWERING THE GIN. This credit price was pretty well researched and it's not only fair it's WELL below the true value price. It's a deal. And I will help with this also: I put the battery type in my search bar and I found this on Ebay and many more sites $7.95 plus free shipping NOT $30 BUCKS.... :) nice try!

Hi Robert, welcome. It's been with my brother for several years, and he never used it. He preferred his wife's camera. He's a neat-freak so I don't think it's broken, but I don't know... which is why it's listed in AS IS CONDITION.

The charger DOES work. In Picture #3 the light is on. Unless the battery is charged and in the camera, the camera itself is not on.

OK let me say this again..listen up "everyone"...the CAMERA is battery operated only.... without a battery it does not 'TURN ON".
