Description

The listing, 5 Hosta 'Pilgrim' Seeds, 2010 has ended.

Hosta 'Pilgrim' is a large variety that gets pale lavender flowers. This plant is for your full shade to part shade garden. Hostas don't do well in sun. I received babies of this plant from a friend this past year and they grew big and flowered for me. I live in the woods in zone 6 and the slugs and deer did not bother with this Hosta. The photo is from Dave's Garden.com. My photos of this Hosta were lost to a computer virus. :-p

Due to current economic circumstances, I will only be shipping on Fridays.

No, it wouldn't. It doesn't like the sun, it prefers to stay moist, and, most importantly, it gets HUGE. A mature plant of a few years stands 3-4 feet tall, and spreads 6 feet or more. Public gardens often plant these in GIGANTIC urns or bowls. Your best bets for hanging baskets are: petunias, portulacas, angel-wing begonias, tuberous begonias, and many others I can't think of right now. :-)
