Up for bids are these authentic vintage Russian Nesting Dolls and bell

Those if you that are repeat watchers of my auctions know that I've listed some old items that my grandmother used to bring back from her many international trips. Well, these are yet another of those many items.

These dolls and several more just like them used to decorate her living room mantle. I remember admiring them from a very young age. And when she passed away a couple years ago, they were left to me. I have the entire collection, but have decided it's time to make some much needed space so I am listing a few of them in the hopes that someone can give them a good home.

The 2 dolls each have 4 smaller dolls inside of them (as pictured above) and the 3rd piece (the largest one) is just a decorative bell that makes a beautiful musical chiming when shaken.

They can be displayed as is, or (as I like to do) display them all together as I have done in the pics, ascending or descending order by size. Sure to add a touch of class and culture to your home.

I have one of these dolls that is missing all the inside pieces, so I use it as a kind of safe of sorts, hiding maybe a couple bills or a key inside of it. Just an idea for any potential owner.

I wasn't sure which category to put these in. Antiques? Probably not. Collectibles - other? Maybe. I decided to go with Decor, because that is what they will most like be used as. What do you think?

Np. These are really nice & I have one with missing dolls also that I hide things in. Some of mine date back to the early 1900's. My bell doll is 60 yrs old at least & it chimes like new. These are so versatile in how to decorate with them. Your fan :)

I'm not sure exactly how old these are, but they have to be at least 20-30 years old because that's when my grandma traveled.

They really are very beautiful, even the pictures don't do them justice. I kinda hate to get rid of them, but it's just time to let go of some stuff. I have more that I'm holding on to though. I have a couple that have 14 smaller dolls inside and those are ones that I'll keep forever.

Hmmm, not sure. Probably close to 30k since they are vintage from the 70s and authentic Russian collectibles, not just US knockoffs. If I ever decided to list one with 15 dolls, that would be much more expensive.

It's really cool and a much more expensive piece. It came from Russia when my grandma went many years ago just like all the others. I listed these together hoping to get a lot of credits but now I'm thinking I should've listed them separately but it's too late now.

I do have 1 less expensive one that I could list on its own to give other interested people a chance. If I decide to list it, you'll be the first to know.
