Thanks for your kind comment. It's a shame but one needs to "cover" one's self When I first joined Listia, there was an incident which made me stay off for awhile because of one Mother (verbally abusive in writing) and her child who bid on something; she got real ugly on me. Then, in the course of discussing it with others, heard about other problems similar or worse. Figured, it better said than have bad experiences in such a manner and have someone turn around and say "well, you didn't say that."
In the interim, someone accused me of "hating children."
Then, on the other hand, had someone recently get nasty on me that I was too verbose. Better to be too wordy, than what went on BEFORE I included "the epistle!"
You mentioned about Listia and their "rules." Well, at the time one Listia moderator (who is still on here) was of no help. Any time there is a problem, I indicate that I want it sent to a different moderator and not that one as they are a "do nothing." If Listia would insure children weren't on here, this would not need be said (or so I sincerely would hope. Or, it would happen far less.)
Thanks again for your comment, may parents see that their overly permissiveness ruins this for others.
