The listing, VIBRANT Austrian Copper or Harison's Yellow single rambling rose PLANT has ended.
Vibrant deep rusty orange called Austrian Copper and bright yellow called Harison’s Yellow single rambling roses. These grow together at our home so I can’t tell you which one you will get but they are absolutely gorgeous. When in full bloom the plant(s) are a carpet of blooms that make it a showpiece. On each branch there are about 5 blooms and they are abundant and re-bloom during the summer. In our area it is hot in the summer and snow in winter. The bush is about 8’ or 9’ by about 5’ by 5’ tall. My son takes the chainsaw to trim it just before the snow is due to come or it is just way out of control so you can imagine the care he takes…trims it like a hedge about 3 ½ to 4’ high and to about 6’ by 4’. As usual, I don’t water it much but it is by the canal that borders our property (about 3’ or 4’ away). The branches of the bush literally drapes like a waterfall with the blooms cascading down the branch. There would be more flowers on each branch except it is so dense in the middle. This auction is for ONE PLANT that will be dug up and sent after the auction is won so it is definitely fresh. The ones I am shipping out will be anywhere from 6” and up and with several leaves on them but I haven’t sent these out before so I am not sure if they will stay on or not. I will ship out on a Monday or Tuesday so you get this the same week. The roses pictured are from highcountryroses.com and do not seem to be a true color to mine but are close. You can find growing instructions and actual costs of the roses from them there. My blooms are a more intensely saturated color. They are a favorite of mine. While I lived in California my sister grew roses that were exquisite but these, although simple, are so showy that they put hers to shame. For sheer impact this beats the more formal roses by a long shot! GIN for 1 plant.
