This case has two pockets depending upon what size phone you have ,if you have a small phone you can use the front pocket ,if you have a bigger phone like an iPhone or Samsung you can you back pocket. I have an lg android and mine fits in both pockets. my wife has an iPhone 5 and her if it's fine with the room in the back pocket. The best part is it has a carabinier so you can lock it on your belt loop , belt, purse, virtually anything. Another good feature to this cases when you're not using one get and keep stuff in the other pocket phone numbers etc, also it comes with the lanyard so you can keep it around your neck so you don't lose it. Or tie to your belt loop or tie to your purse. Also the lanyard is fully adjustable and comes off if you don't want to use it. its up to you if you want to use it or not, because you have the carabinier on the other side as a back up. So no more losing your phone from having it fall off your side because the clip became loose or unclipped from walking.
