Cauliflower can be grown all year round depending upon climate and temperature. In southern California, cauliflower can be sown directly into the soil.

I did see cauliflower grown in potted plants inside. the cauliflower head was a bit smaller but, just as delicious. I think he would have used a larger container he would have had bigger results.

*Cauliflower retains its flavour when refrigerated and freezes well. Be sure to completely freeze by placing cut pieces onto a baking sheet first before placing in freezer bags. Otherwise you'll have one lump of ice.

*Don't have enough room in your freezer? Dehydrate cauliflower! Most parts of the world dehydrate it and reconstitute it in soups or simmering it in stock.

These are hybred 'non-heirloom' (f1) seeds. I tend to have pests that like to attack my corn and cauliflower.
