CUTTINGS are MUCH EASIER to raise a young plant from than seeds AND A LOT MORE AFFORDABLE THAN THE PRICE of 2 to 3 year old established shrubs.

Forsythia are one of the most popular flowering shrub. In early spring before leaves appear it is covered with golden yellow blooms from top to bottom. Also makes a nice hedge and grows very quickly.

Forsythia bushes are great for property borders, Very easy to care for, part to full sun is best. Mature height is 10 feet if left untrimmed, but it is best to trim each fall. Good in zones 4-9 .

They can be planted anytime but Spring is the easiest time to get these to root. These will grow in Full to partial sun and are very hardy. Zones 4-9, Full Sun is best, but I have several that flourish under the shade of a huge oak tree. Height 8-10 feet, and grow well in moist well drain soil with a yearly application of mulch to help keep the weeds away, saves on water and adds a nicer touch to these beauties.
