It comes with a booklet that will give you step by step instructions.
I think all you need to do is insert the sim card into your phone, along with the battery and power it on. You can also go to T-Mobiles website, or call up a representative from a touchtone phone for further instructions.
I dont have a phone that uses a sim card, that is why im listing this.
