stunning fully embroidered folk vest.The vest is reversible as the embroidery was done on the netting itself and so can be3 worn on either side.It will probably be a size medium or so.I have had this for forty years and never wore it or washed it so there is a slight discoloration in some spots on the lace edging.This would also be fantastic framed in a shadow box.If your home is filled with a variety of eclectic things you will adore this.All listia rules apply

Thanks again.The neat thing about it is that the embroidery goes through to the reverse side and the colors are just as vibrant on the inside.I don't know how how they did it on just the net stuff but it truly is a prize.Have super padded mailer all ready for it to travel.:)

No,tag when I found it but i believe it to be part of a northeastern Europe folk costume,Either polish or Hungarian.The Polish costumes are stunning and often have vests like these.It could also have Been of Mexican origin such as the ballet Folklorico wears.All forms of folkart are my speciality and thats my best guess for the vest,Hope this is helpful/Thanks Sheila
