Is it Gold? River Rock with gold or pyrite flecks...

This river rock has been worn down by the stream to expose shimmery gold or pyrite flecks. I am not sure what they are... the winning bidder will receive this mystery stone and be able to examine it, Could it be gold? or just pyrite...

See detailed pictures above.

No guarantee can be made that this rock contains gold or other precious materials, I am not a gemologist, sold "as is" with no implied guarantee of gold, buy at your own risk.

My computer does not show the true colors of pics and it looks purple on mine. I would have bid were that the case. I doubt that is gold in there and in any case wouldn't be worth any great amount. and I don't know what size 20 mm is.

20 millimeters or approx 3/4 of an inch. You're right if it is gold it wouldn't be worth much, it's sold as an item to invoke curiosity, since listia points have no real value except for what value a person puts on it a small bid would cost more in shipping than I would ever hope to make in trade in point for something else. Thank you for looking and supporting this auction with your comments.

It could be real. Pyrite forms more square like.

I don't completely understand your question? The pictures show the color, Granite Gray and the size of the rock is approx 20 mm. If you are looking for the gold or pyrite flecks it is clearest in the middle of the rock in the second picture. The gold like spot is approx 1 to 2 mm.

I don't know. But,you never do know. In the picture it looks like a round formation not square. Anyway, great auction. :)
