This auction is for an all natural 8.5 carat oval cut ruby. The color of this ruby is called pigeon's blood, I was told by my jeweler. That's the name they use to refer to a ruby that's this color. The ruby has no infractions, clear to the eye and doesn't appear to have any physical defects. I listed a ruby a couple weeks ago similar to this one, this one's a little step up compared to last one in color and its just all around a little better Ruby. As far as Ruby's go is the best one I've listed yet, it has an awesome bright red color and if you're looking for a gem to make a beautiful pendant for any kind of jewelry this is definitely the one for you.
