Two vintage porcelain dolls. The larger one has GERMANY on it’s back. The smaller one I don’t see any markings. See photos and for the size.

LOL..Hello my awesome friend! These came from my gram's too. She was crazy over her dolls..and had thousands of them.. Not kidding either. A lot of them are in glass cases at the Library..Love you my Angel! blessings & Joy always..

Hi my awesome friend! Yes, she collected them and some were hundreds of years old..I can still hear her saying, look don't touch..snickering..When she passed away her son burned a lot of them to clear out her farm house. Mom managed to save quite a few (but not without a struggle..) It always upset me when family doesn't hold any value to the contents of their loved ones, cherished collections..

They are creepy! They remind me of spooky movies where the doll was used in the movie as a spiritual being that would cry as a warning to the new house owners.
I used to take care of an old woman that had altimeters disease, but when she was young and healthy, she was a school teacher, but as an old woman living with that tragic disease, she owned a lot of dolls, some like these SPOOKY ONES LOL- & she seriously thought they were her children. Missing arms and legs and all!! She dressed them up and she would pester me until I told her how beautiful they were. She forced me to lie! I told her that once and she spanked my best friend. Two grown women being forced to lie and getting spanked for it and I never laughed so hard!!
