LOL, your long reply is good with me. I love cats; and, am glad to hear that you were able to rescue her in time. Snooki Butterball, what a cute name for a very pretty kitty!!! My two are Sweet Boy, and he is a Savannah cat; and, Fluffy Muffy, and she is a beautiful calico. We think, she may be part Persian because her nose is partly flat and she is long-haired. Both of my kitties are also, rescues. I rescued Sweet Boy from City Animal Control; and, I got Fluffy Muffy from a local website. I consider her a rescue because, after I got her, she showed every sign of having been abused before. Sometimes, she still shows those signs because I can do things with her that if I did the same thing with a normal cat, I'd probably come up with a nub for my fingers or an arm. I do not mistreat her in any way. She is very fear-based. Sometimes, she just doesn't want to be bothered; and, the way she was mistreated her first four years of her life, I do not blame her for her reactions. I have worked long with her and she now-lives a more normal life; and, has become a very sweet cat. She wasn't truly mean to begin with. She had just always been abused in many ways; and, she was exhibiting pain. She is doing fine, now. And, she is still very beautiful.

Good luck with your auction. =D

Tell your daughter that I said, unless she has a serious understanding of cats and, technically, knows what move the cat is going to make before the cat does that, and has trained herself NOT to react to the cat when she could get hurt; then, she does NOT want to get a Savannah cat, or any other new breed that is bred from one parent that is wild. These create gorgeous cats; but, they are only HALF-TAME. They are very sweet cats for the most-part; but one wrong move even just playing, and it's very EASY to get hurt badly. I was very lucky to get Sweet Boy, from Animal Control. They wrote him down as a brown tabby. He's anything BUT, just a plain brown tabby. His markings are a purr-fect give away, plus the way that he plays. He IS an incredible cat. It's easy to forget that he is part wild; but one wrong move on my part and I'm quickly reminded that he is NOT an ordinary house cat. Something else that I have to deal with and took me by surprise, is how he is VERY TICKLISH. If I even OFFER to scratch him in a tickle place, I can still get hurt easily; even though I know that he didn't mean to. He realizes as soon as I let out a holler saying that hurt, he is so sweet, the holler scares him and he will run off and hide. I have to super sweet talk him and coax him out. I just wanted her to know how it is to own one of these for a pet. My Savannah kitty is very sweet and very intelligent. It doesn't take long to make up and let him know that we are still best buddies. However, I cannot vouch that all Savannah cats would react that quickly to make up again, for being friends. I have seen house cats that didn't forgive as quickly as Sweet Boy does. He literally lives up to his name, Sweet Boy.

P.S. Back at the ranch, I have finally been outbidden to the point that I cannot rebid. I am truly sorry. Continued good luck with your auction. =)
