Questions & Comments
In 1968 Canada reduced the silver content from 80% to 50% in the dimes and even changed the content completely. Some are 50% silver and some are nickel. See if a magnet sticks if it does its nickel if not its 50% silver!
My mistake, I have updated the listing. I collect American Silver, I'm obviously not an expert on the variations amongst Canadian coins. I do love the Maple Leaf though!
I am positive it's the 50% Silver variety though, the weight is different between the two. A 50% Silver dime is 2.33 grams v.s. the 99.9 Nickel dime which weighs 2.07 grams. I checked the weight to make sure.
No problem just trying to help is all. I'm far from being an expert myself. I've been collecting foreign coins for a few years now so I have picked up a thing or two.
