2.5 grams / 12 gauge approx 3/8" wide and 1/2" tall out of 14k gold!!
This is hand made by roadie Suzanne Cordes.. It works... When I mean it works is it has threads.. So it locks in like a shackle would.. This is meant to be an earring.. But I've seen people with these around their necks like a little charm.. Great for a guy or gal in construction, blue collar.. or just to add gold to your collection.

Shackles are a growing trend.. And there are other shackles out these well over $220 and are the same 14k size & weight..

i like it. I hope I win it. however, it's a clevis hook. they are used for connecting chain or cable to heavy objects that need to be moved. I love that it actually threads! There would be a huge market for these with miners & ironworkers etc.

Totally not trying to be rude, but No ma'am this is a shackle, a clevis hook is a hook and actually looks like a hook.. But they are commonly used together and are in the same family.. and yes an actual steel shackle or C-hook would be used doing various duties with heavy objects - Note for all: As we all know gold is soft so please know this is not rated to withstand any weight! ;)

Good Question, this answer is for EVERYONE - No this is hand made, by an artisan in southern california.. Her website is on the listing.. This is the real deal direct from her.. I highly doubt any of the shackles you find on the web will be stamped either.. these things are hand made, so tiny and rounded.. I'm not even sure where the stamp would go.. its not like the back of a ring or earring, this thing is 360deg exposed.. There is one selling on amazon for $182 14k and has no trace of a stamp either.. - If you're worried about resale a stamp means nothing, a goldsmith can tell you the value and quality.. if your worried about authenticity please don't I think my feedback speaks for itself.. I can even pull my credit card statement showing it was purchased from Suzi direct..

As are all the tiny shackles found online! The value of this object is $175 that is what I paid and what is sold for by artist.. I added the grams so you can convert the troy.. to sell piece as is the value should be same or %10 under... To melt it down and sell it as is of course a different situation. I ship within 5 days, most likely the next day but things do pop up in peoples lives thats why I say 5 days.. I will ship as securely as possible with a tracking number not DC.. Normally I use DC on %98 of my auctions.. But since this is gold I want to ensure the winning bidder has nothing to worry about..
