**1896-P MORGAN SILVER DOLLAR**VAM 6A*R-6!*VERY RARE VAM!* NEAR DATE, DOUBLED 6, CLASHED OBVERSE N**YOU CAN READ MORE ABOUT THIS COIN, AND MORE ABOUT VAMS ON VAMWORLD.COM. JUST GOOGLE THE DATE AND VAM NUMBER, AND YOU'LL FIND A LINK RIGHT TO IT. THIS COIN IS A CHOICE AU/BU SLIDER! NATURAL SURFACES, AND LUSTER! VERY LITTLE IF ANY WEAR ON THE COIN WITH BEAUTIFUL TONING OF MULTIPLE COLORS FROM GOLD TO BLUE! IT WAS ALBUM TONED FROM THE OLD COLLECTION, AND WAS STORED AWAY FOR AT LEAST 60+ YEARS!

HELLO, I recently inherited a wonderful almost all uncirculated coin collection! They're all kinds including error coins, vams (error coins of morgan and peace dollars), key dates, slabbed, and graded coins. Mostly US mint starting from the early 1800's to 1964. Within those years they minted silver coins 90% silver, and 10% copper, and then from 1965-69 half & dollar coins were 40% silver along with all the S mint marks (San Francisco mint) which still produce silver coins today. I am a avid collector, and have been collecting coins since I was a kid. I now have multiples of many of my coins from old large cents to peace dollars, and halves, quarters, and dimes to 1964 (when they stopped minting 90% silver), and am going to list some! I am still going through them all, and it's taking some time to do it, so please bare with me, and I will list them as I go. It's quite a risk listing my expensive, and rare coins being new at listing on here, and no reserve, so please believe me that they are great coins, and I will ship Fast, and Free USPS First Class With Tracking! Thank you for watching/bidding! Good luck!

Clashed die vams with letter transfer are highly sought after! A clashed die is when they closed the dies with no planchet which left details from one side to the other like the n from in god we trust in front of neck with a clash line between neck and chin, and the st near hair on back of her head. You can sometimes find a E by the tail feathers. Some will have clashing with no letter transfer, and some you will find with a rotated reverse. This is a rarity of R-6, and most are R-5, so it's rarer than most. Vamworld home page will tell you all you need to know to start your own collection. I also recommend at least a 40× illuminated jewelry loop, and a 40×-60× mini microscope you can pick up each of these cheap on Amazon. I also have a digital microscope hooked up to my pc which works best, but start around $80, well worth it. I will be listing more soon, but this one would make a great start to a new vam collection. You might even have some rare ones, if you already have some Morgan dollars, and some are easy to vam, but some take me hours, and then sometimes just give up on it because it could be a vam 1 normal die. Have a fun and safe holiday weekend! Bobby

Real cool! I have a vamview guide for this year, and found out that I have some real treasures worth a ton! This coin is in there, and they only put the most important vams in their price guide, like the top 100's! I wish that I had a store like that by my house. The ones around me don't want to pay the premium, even though they will sell it as the vam at a premium price.

Nice of you to share your special coins! I started collecting silver on Listia when I first joined here. I collect for my new Grandbabies (2yr and 4 months) Some day they will have a nice collection to start them off. Watching and will check your auctions out as you list.

Thank you very much, and I'm happy that you're doing that for your grandbabies! That would be the best present to give them when they get old enough! I shared the hobby w/my uncle until he passed, real good times! I now have his collection, and he had more than he showed me! I guess it would be the best thing to hoard! Lol! Thanks for stopping by, and watching!
