Description

The listing, Sedum Ground Cover has ended.

You are bidding on a nice sized clump of my yellow sedum ground cover. The picture is actually from my yard. It will be rooted and any loose pieces easily root if you plant them in the ground. This is very hardy, we have cold winters with snow and it comes back every year. It grows real well and will fill in your succulent garden with no problem. I have it in full sun and it does great! I will wrap the roots in wet paper toweling and plastic to keep in moisture on the trip to you. I do not put the actual plant in plastic to avoid it turning to mush. I will wrap it in paper and pack well so you receive a plant you can stick in the ground and have success with. I ship free to save you money. If you decide to bid, Thank You, and Good Luck!

Do these take root along the ground and how much ground do they cover? How tall do they get? I have an area in KS that gets morning and afternoon sun that needs filled. Thank you.

I started out with a palm size bunch and within the year it has covered a patch about 2'x4'. They root along the ground and will spread. They don't get very tall 3-4" off of the ground maybe. You can cut them back and restart the other pieces in other areas very easily. Mine get quite a bit of sun, so I am sure they would do well for you if you decide to bid. Thanks for looking :)

I think you would be better off mailing these in a Dry paper towel in a bag. The bag makes a bubble to retain moisture. Non machinable in bold. I think squashing is this plants only fear. Drying out a little is fine. Great auction!

Thank you, I will send it that way, I usually box or wrap well to avoid them being squashed. I usually send houseplants, but don't ever put the full plant in plastic to avoid them going to mush. Haven't auctioned a lot of my outdoor succulent type plants, so I appreciate the advice :).
