Lovely, antiques style cameo pendant/brooch made of sterling silver, marcasite, and mother of pearl. Has a pin on the back so you can wear it as a brooch, or a bail that you can dangle it from a chain. Me.asures 2 inches in length, and one and a half inches across; a lovely old-fashioned piece of jewelry

Yes, it is marked 925 on the back, right below the black cameo piece.

I just examined it closely, and there are no marcasites missing. This piece is in perfect condition.

Neither. I received it as a gift in the early 90's and wore it only a couple of times, so it wouldn't quite qualify as vintage, but it has an antique look to it.
