Jatropha Mutifida Tree AKA: Coral Tree

Beautiful and Very Expensive Tropical tree That also does very well in a container indoors ,,which allows people in Non-Tropical areas to grow it.

The Seeds to these trees go for around $14.99 per seed on EBAY and sometimes higher. It is continually "SOLD-OUT" in most nurseries where it is offered for Sale.

It is loved for it's flowing delicate looking leaves which resemble "MARIJUANA-CANNIBUS" Plants. Hard to tell the difference till it Blooms. It gets covered in bright red and orange flowers.

This plant is attractive to bees, butterflies and (Expecially HummingBirds)

This plant is suitable for growing indoors
Water regularly; Let it Semi dry out between waterings.

This Tree has been proven hardy in Zone 9 and Lower and has shown to be able to stand down to 25 degrees. It will often shed it's leaves in the winter and look dead if it gets too cold but don't pull it up ...It comes back in the spring with a vengeance even fuller and prettier. Top it occasionally to help bush it out so it doesn't stay tall and spindly.

The seeds are the green bulbs that appear as the flowers drop off. If dried properly they store well till the next season to share with friends or start new plants in your own garden. They can be kept trimmed to maintain a bushy effect or let go to reach as high as 12ft if planted outdoors. Keep dead flowers cut off if you do not want baby trees popping up all over around it as birds will flock to this tree and spread the seeds.

I will be shipping ( 1 ) Live seedling the size shown above in the last photo. It will have to be planted immediately upon receipt. I will try and send as much of it's dirt as I can to be able to keep shipping price down.

All Listia Rules Apply and I hope the Winner Fully appreciates His or Her chance to Own one of these Beautiful Trees of the Tropics as Much as I do!! :-)
