Description

The listing, **BLUE TOPAZ RING** has ended.

Blue topaz set in 925 stamped silver ring!! The ring is a size 11 so it's a bit on the larger side. I got this ring on listia, it was posted as a blue topaz set in solid sterling silver and that it could be sized and that it's perfect for a man or a woman to wear. It is stamped 925 but I do believe it to be plated so I don't think it can be sized. It is too big for all of my fingers and I don't like to take my rings off so I would probably mess this ring up with constant wear. If it is cared for properly and stored in a dry place when not wearing it should keep looking brand new for a very long time!! It's a very simple and adorable ring that I would've loved to have kept if it could've been sized. I'm telling you all of this because I want to be honest and I want bidders to know what they're bidding for. I've seen a lot of dishonesty on this site about jewelry and it's not right to mislead bidders just to get more credits! I really hope someone can enjoy this ring as much as I had hoped to when bidding on it because it's too precious to just be stored away and never worn!!

I only ship to listia verified addresses and I always include a tracking number!! I usually try to ship within 48 hours of the auction ending but I have 4 children and life does sometimes happen, therefore I occasionally take closer to the 7 days given to me by listia to ship, but have never taken the full 7! Thank you for taking a look at my auction and please check out some of my other auctions!! I also love questions so ask any and all that you may have!! Have a great day and happy bidding!!!

I appreciate your honesty! Too many listers on this site are selling Chinese rings marked 925 that are NOT sterling. It's too bad that people end up spending big credits on cheaply made jewelry. Your description is great as the buyer will know exactly what they are getting!

Your bidders will appreciate your honesty! I think it pays to treat people like we would want to be treated. I have had a couple not-so-swell trades on here, but mostly good! :)

Thank you! I completely agree! I live my life with that motto so it's easy to bring it with me into my auctions :) I don't like being deceived so I won't deceive others :)

Have you tested it with a magnet? If it sticks to a magnet its probably plated but if it doesn't it could be sterling

Yes I did do the magnet test. The results were iffy so my friend did some kind of chemical test to the other ring I got from the same seller and it didn't test sterling and the marks on the rings were almost identical. It looks like the plated ones from China (that's where I've heard people are getting them) so I'm pretty sure it's plated but I can't say 100% thanks so much for the great question! I hope I answered it for you and thank you for looking at my auction :)

I think people should ban and stay away from the overseas auctions. We need to get the word out. This site has become like ebay...way to congested. Thanks for your honesty. Watching.

Thank you so much! I completely agree with you about all of the overseas jewelry. It's scary how dishonesty has become so easy for people these days. Buyers/bidders have a right to know what they're actually paying for. Thank you for your kind words and for watching my auction :)

Yep China is very bad at being honest. Here no one can put the stamp for sterling unless it truly is. In China, they do not care and sell tons of jewelry as 925 when they are in fact plated. I have been duped by sellers on here too and refused to resell them because I know it will do much less than what I paid. If I did resell, I would do the same thing as you so you are not alone. I always seem to find too many dishonest people on here and it is too expensive to return, so you are definietly a breath of fresh air! I just add the others to my block party!! Karen

Oh, and you are correct -- if they take care of this ring, it may last them for a good long while. It's really a lovely ring if they can wear the size!

Thank you so much for your comments! I spent some really big credits on 3 rings when I first started on this site and they ended up being plated. One of them I wore for 2 weeks straight and it gave me a rash on my finger because I'm allergic to copper I think. That's when I realized what people do to get lots of credits for cheap stuff and it's not right at all. I like to be honest with my auctions because I know how bad it feels to be deceived and one of the ladies that deceived me I truly cared for and was very hurt in the end. I hope someone can enjoy this ring because it's really adorable. I'll take lower credits than I paid because at least I'm being honest ya know. Thank you so much for your kind words :)

Iitytyom1 thank you for your very kind and true words! It's sad to see how many people are knowingly posting jewelry as sterling silver, 10k (and other karats too) gold, and saying the stones are genuine also, when they are not. It's so hard to tell from pics sometimes that we have to trust the seller that we're getting what they say we are. I've figured out pretty well by this point how to tell if it's legitimate jewelry or not but I got fooled quite a lot when I was new to the site. I'm a trusting person so I was perfect bait for someone to put a high gin on jewelry that wasn't worth the credits. I appreciate that people are bidding on the items I've had to relist, so that's why I'm wanting to give away some of my younique makeup that I could auction off for more credits by itself most likely. I have some nicer rings and such that I'll be auctioning off soon but I try not to overwhelm myself with auctions and life at the same time hehe! Thank you for commenting and looking at my auction :) I fanned you. It's nice to see that there are good people that aren't willing to screw people over for their own gain left in this world! Have a great weekend :)

I can't update the auction to add the pics of the eye pigment and blush colors for the winner to choose from, so once the auction ends I'll message the winner with the details and we'll figure out which colors and how many they'll be receiving! Good luck and thanks so much to everyone for bidding and commenting on my auction!!
