Information:
Dimensions: 1.5 x 5.1 x 2.9 inches. Weighs 0.32 pounds. Digital 4x zoom and Optical 1x zoom. High definition video with integrated LCD screen, rotatable lens - 720P HD video @ 30 or 25 fps.
It can take 5MP photos. Put it in the time lapse mode and you can take pictures every few seconds for as long as the battery lasts.

Removable battery (big big plus, since you can swap out a dead battery with a fresh one)
Water Resistant (can't dunk it, but good enough when caught in a downpour)
Good video quality (720p is okay, some pixelation when recording at high speeds is visible on a hi-res screen but nothing too bad)
LCD screen (for: aligning the view, changing settings on the fly, and for previewing videos.
The remote control is very convenient
Easily removable lens cover
Easily adjustable camera angle and lens orientation.

smart. btw, these work great for recording motorcycle rides. low profile and you can attach it to your helmet for a riders pov.

About how long will a battery charge last while recording? What is the largest memory card it will take?

From my experience the battery life was between an hour and an hour and a half. I used to commute to work an hour each way. It would last the entire way there but couldn't make it back the entire distance without a charge or a battery swap. So I'd either charge it at work or carry an extra battery with me. (a charging cable and extra battery is included)
It takes up to 32gb and recording 720p it will last a pretty long time before having to clean the sd card or transfer memory over to something else. (A 4gb card is included)
