new to Listia....do you know why it says I have been outbid?
Also, how does one determin what to list the item at? Do points represent an approx. dollar amount?

It says your outbid until you make a bid higher than the bid that it's at now, sometimes it doesan't show the right amount that was bid, you just have to keep bidding till it says your the high bidder. The highest that most people can set a auction at is 100 credits, most people set the credits at what they feel the itiem is worth, the people that place bids then have to decide if the itiem is worth bidding on at the current credits for that Itiem, I don't think points represent dollar amount, it all depends on how bad you want a itiem and how many credits your willing to bid on it. I would list a few things that you think someone might want, and see how it goes from there. You might be suprised at how many credits someone is willing to give for a itiem! Hope this helps and good luck!!

I am wondering about the dollar value of credits as well. It must be the same as the dollar value if you purchase credits which is 100 credits = $5.00, 400 credits = 10.00, 1200 credits = 20.00 and 3200 credits = 40.00
