This very delicate vintage old-gold color chain is so delicate that I thought it was a thin silk cord until I got it home and took a closer look and found that it's actually a very thin (but sturdy) metal chain. It is 17 inches long equipped with a 3 inch extender for a total length of 20 inches if worn as a single strand. It is embellished with squarish thin wooden beads made from a lightweight wood (unable to determine the type) alternating with beautifully aged shell beads that are a creamy warm off white color. There are also goldtone oval-shaped textured beads and goldtone circle beads. Each bead is separated by a tiny crimping bead. This beautiful piece possesses an understated elegance that easily transitions from day to evening, from casual to dressy and can be worn as a single or double strand. Very versatile, this classic necklace is an excellent go-to piece that will beautifully accent just about any outfit, even jeans and a T-shirt.
