awesome,my hubby is from long island,e. Patchogue,i am from up here in the Adirondacks,he took me down there every year since we started metal detecting,my dad always said never to give away the secrets of the treasure finds,i can tell you we went to the hamptons, fire island, jones beach,a few bays and beaches, bellport,a few hills and valleys where even critters dare to venture! we have a lot of things we found over the years,we even found a classring my dearest is trying to find the owner as it is engraved, that would be so awesome if we found him,we found it on a beach,he knows all the spots,i don't,but my dad left me a few maps, god rest his soul. I miss him and his adventures.i lost him in 2000 to a heart attack :-(

ok,thank you and you as well.to tell you the truth,i really don't like it down there,i'd rather be up here anyday, gods country.look out the windows here and see trees and mountains and wild animals roaming the fields, down there all you see is roads cars and people mostly.we do love detecting though.take care now. :-)
i am in the middle of the smokies, and love it.after living in myrtle beach for thity five yrs,i almost for got what the mountains looked like.i lived in cobleskill ny some yrs ago at mom and dads cabin after finishing college, you are right the mountains they are truely breath taking.waking up looking at all the smoke in the am,is all gods work and love it.;)
WOW!!! My dad lost his class ring up there decades ago! I'm sure it's not the same but what a story that would be, huh? His ring was from Lowell Tech, class of 68 (I think)! Is that the o e you found...haha!!
if you win, please let me know if you sell it to a jeweler, and the amount of $ you receive for it,my dad left us some maps of good metal detecting spots before he passed away in 2000,and this area we detected we found quite a few old coins and jewelry some gold and silver,i put up an old tiny coin awhile ago,i had no idea what it was,and the winner got quite a bit for it,i was hoping he'd share a little with me,but that's ok,i am a big dummy at times.the lord will keep blessing me with more good finds :-)thank you for bidding!good luck!
