Description

The listing, Solid Sterling Silver and Turquoise Earrings - Now on Auction ! has ended.

Solid 925 earrings with genuine turquoise stones that are highly polished. No bid on GIN, so up for auction this time! These are kinda old, but we're never used and still on the card. Card is priced $40. Stamped & marked 'BARSE THA 925'. They have weight to them, but are not overly heavy. Great for your Indian or western jewelry.
Have no fear bidding here. Check out my awesome feedback and bid with confidence!

Silver buyers!!!! READ!!!!
Beware of most jewelry sold on Listia. Just because it is stamped does NOT mean it is real silver. They will stamp it the same if it is filled or plated (I even have solid copper earrings stamped 925). Having no stamp does not mean it is not silver at the same
time.
Tips on knowing silver:
Your first test, Sterling will not stick to a magnet (but neither will a lot of metals they plate, so continue testing).
Next look at the details, does it look like it was dipped in silver, chrome looking over the welds (you don't really see welds on higher quality jewelry) that is not good. If it is new, I'd say there is an 80% chance it is plated if you get it on Listia.
The real test: find an unnoticeable spot and file a tiny spot, if you see gold, copper or any color it is plated. If it is silver you can sand and buff it back to the way was.
Try looking up the title on eBay or Google, do price checks.
100% test - take it to a pawn shop or jeweler to have it tested.

I'm just sick of getting fooled, and seeing others lose their hard earned points on costume pieces.

I make most of my jewelry, so I know it is real. If I have a vintage piece, I will describe the materials to the best of my knowledge.
