The listing, Silver and Onyx earrings.... clip-on vintage pair SO PRETTY!! has ended.

These are clip on earrings. I believe it is an onyx stone and they are set in silver. although there are no marks I can see. I have had these over 25 years so they are "'vintage", as am I. Picture is beside a quarter to give you an idea of size ... measures approx 3/4" x 1/2".
Seem suitable to me for more casual attire...The silver around the stone has an intricate delicate design.

I do but they are not marked....and I haven't had them checked. I've had them since forever....used to wear them with western clothes.....but I really don't know. I just now rechecked and still don't see any marks. I put some silver jewelry cleaner on them just now and WOW they shined up beautifully. Sorry I can't be more decisive but they are really pretty and do look like silver. Thank you for asking as you got me to polish them up better...Carole.
