hello. there are 18 nickels that are all 1964 or earlier. plus there is a v nickel thats even older in there. as an added bonus to the auction. i found another 4 nickels that are pre-1964 in my pocket change. i seen one from the fortys and 50s era. i will include these. so you get a total of 22 pre- 1964 nickels. so there is 4 nickels not shown i am throwing in as an added bonus! just because listians rock!! good luck folks hope to speak to the winner very soon. :-)

Is there any Silver nickles? the way you can tell is look on the back above the Monticello if the mint mark is there then its a silver nickle.

hi. i looked at the few i just added in today. on the back i see the monticello wording. on two of the four i just threw in, 2 of them i dont see a mint mark on the back, the other 2 have a letter d like by the right side of the building on the back. i could look into all of them to get a more exact count of how many have the mark on the back? like i said i just looked into the last 4 i threw in as a bonus, and this is what is on them. let me know if i can provide any better details for you somehow, i will before the auction is over so everyone else knows as well. thank you for your comment. i am open to any other questions anyone might have as well. :-)

i guess i never knew exactly over the years? thats great info! i just always was told that the "keepers" was the pre 1964 coins. so i always look for those in pocket change. never find anything in those dates pre 64 except for the nickels. a person should feel lucky if you get a quarter or something like that not being a nickel in your pocket change. but i always am looking out of habit for them. thanks for your comment. :-)

i do! i use to collect a ton of them at one time. they ended up getting stolen and i never ever bought or had that many laying around at one single time again. but i do still love to collect coins just for fun. i just take it in moderation now a days! i had bank bags unsearched with wheats indians and silver coins. 5000 per bag. was a terrible hit to me personally. but a few bad apples dont make the world turn, honest folks like us here at listia do! thanks again for your wonderful comments on my listing here. :-)

hello. the liberty dollar replica coin is just that, it is a replica and is not the real deal coin. these coins are instead made of 1 ounce fine copper per each coin of those you see including the square indian head one. these are 1 oz cooper coins. theres one in there thats like a morgan, liberty, mercury dime, and i think other one was like standing liberty quarter its suppose to be imitated from. the square copper coin with the indian head i believe is to commemorate the indian head nickels. they used to look like the one thats pictured on it. but there are 5 total 1 ounce coins in here you can see. hope it helps, any other questions please do ask. i will do my best. as far as the copper 1 ounce coins go, there are others like it listed here for reference. i seen other sellers with them as well. again hope it helps. i am always open to any other questions as well, just ask me i will do my best to answer your questions to the best of my ability and in a timely manner. have a nice day. good luck!! :-)
