The listing, A pair of Vintage Egg cups from Japan has ended.

These are a pair of vintage egg cups made in Japan and marked. They have some age so I would say from the 1950's or so. The clear glaze on top shows some crackling (one longish one goes part way around the cup.) So I would not recommend them for use but only as decoration to add to a collection(or start one!) as egg cups are collectible.They are sweet and my mother had them on a shelf for many years! They will be carefully packed and shipped USPS with tracking and insurance. Shipping can be paid with Paypal.Sorry , no refunds or returns. I cannot replace them! Nice. In the old days when something like this, take a plate for example if it cracked we would put it in a cast iron pot fill it with milk and boil it for five to ten minutes. That sealed the crack!!

Someone just told me Aron Alpha is a great glue to use! But this looks like a surface crack , more than all of the way through. I'll take another look at the inside to be sure.
