This is a "Faux" Imari Tea Caddie, not the real antique type(It maybe antique but not true Imari ! Though it is quite convincing!) Some people collect these fake Imari items, because in time they will be collectible ,too! (The really are already! ) It is stamped and marked, if you look up the stamp you can see it is not Japanese made but possibly Chinese or English in either case they are make gorgeous China! And it is a beauty! It has what appears to be a lovely silver plate or chrome covered handle and rim.It is in good condition and quite a good size! If you'd like the size please ask, but rough it's 5 to 6" across, maybe 6" or so tall.Apologies for shipping but I must charge!
