Up for auction is 1 yard (36 inches) of grosgrain ribbon. The ribbon is one inch wide. The print is an adorable Aristocats with pink flowers, on a navy blue background.

Ribbons are useful in 101 craft projects- making hair bows or headbands, bracelets or necklaces, lanyards, key fobs, scrapbooking, card making, sewing-trimming clothing, purses, crocheting or quilting projects, decoupage, decorating gifts, baskets, wreaths, windsocks, accenting vases and candlesticks, and a multitude of other uses I haven't thought of!

I sometimes use ribbons to decorate my needlepoint projects. My grandmother used to thread ribbon through many of her crocheted items-hats, mittens, sweaters, blankets, etc. She even did this with clothes that she crocheted for my Barbie dolls. She'd use 1/8 inch ribbon-so tiny. Both my mother and grandmother loved to sew, and would make clothes for everyone, often they would be trimmed with ribbon. They made some gorgeous things. Ahh....Memories can be so sweet!
