why only 5 sheets, why not the entire pad???

all of my sheets and there have been many different kinds have been for 5. I am retired and 5 sheets only cost 1 stamp compared to $2.59 to send a whole pad. I have done over 750 auctions and never charged shipping. I can send you what is left of the pad (almost new) if you want to pay the shipping.
