It isn't marked ,so it is just a base metal.no gold or silver or Stainless. It is costume jewelry only.hope this helps.

Also there are no dings,scuffs or faded places in the metal.no chips in the finish at all.it is in like new condition.

I have never worn the ring myself. It was my mom's. As each person has different body chemistry and reacts in different ways, I can't answer that.what I do know is that the ring is costume jewelry only, no real metal or stones.
