The listing, Lot of 24 Balls of Tatting Thread has ended.

You will receive all 24 balls of tatting thread. Some are DMC and some are not. I tried to show the tops the best I could so you can see the labels and the colors.

These come from a smoke free home.

Questions & Comments

Regular sized rolls are 400 yards on roll. The tiny ones are only 75 yards. There is a big difference. To make little soap sachets calls for 100 yards of one color. So, one roll would not make that. And it takes more than one roll to put an edging around hankies. I don't know why anyone would make rolls so small?? Does anyone know what craft project that would only need 75 yards?? Exactly!! That guy had to be on drugs or something!!!

I don't really know anything about tatting, but I've seen little motifs like butterflies and flowers made to attach to things like clothing or bags and they don't look like they would take much thread. And of course, if you use it to make things for dolls clothes or crochet with it for dollhouse items, it doesn't take much at all. :)

Are these those tiny rolls?? They look just like the ones I got on EBay. Little rolls that are only 75 yards per row!! I don't know who came up with making rolls so small!!

I'm not sure how much is on the DMC rolls, they don't say on them. The other 'Star' brand-some say 60 yards and some say 125 yards, but they look the same, so I have no idea. I know nothing about tatting, I had these to crochet dollhouse doilies and things with. :)

What is the diameter of the rolls Approx? I Have no clue what size they are.

I've added a pic with a ruler showing the size of them. There are about 3 different sizes approx. The DMC ones are the smallest, but they look like they have the most thread on them, but they are new and are rolled much tighter. Hope this helps. :)

Simple tatting projects for trimming a hankie. It can be done with less than 75 yards. Done it.
