Hi All,
It's time for my annual Fall Clean Out. The holidays are coming so out with the old and in with the new!

For auction is this vintage fairy jewelry/trinket box that I've had for many years. It's showing some signs of age and discolouration but it's an awesome collector's item.

Inside I've stuffed it with so far 45 pieces of assorted jewelry and one high end perfume. The jewelry pieces are all costume in nature. There are rings, necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and a few watches. All the smaller items are already bagged for your convince. I'll be adding more items over the course of the auction until IT'S TO FULL TO CLOSE!!

Great opportunity for a flea marketer or just someone wishing to add to their own collection.

What are the measurements of the box please?

The box is 10" inches in length, 6" wide and 2" deep.

Thank you! I've collected fairies forever and my Aunt gave me this years ago. I think she found it at a yard sale. It's really neat but it's time for a new home.

That I'm not sure. It has the artist's name, on the bottom of the artwork. It looks like Maio but it's hard to tell. The covering of the box is a silk material so it could be an original?? I just don't have enough information about it to be certain.

I did look it up and Maio is an artist who is well known for his big eyed female renditions. There is quite a following for his work. I found a couple jewelry boxes on EBay like this but none with the fairy. Hope that helps. :-)

The Elgin watch works and I have a house full of fairy stuff so I am completely with you on that one! lol. I'm not sure if anything is sterling but I'll check through my things and make sure I include something. :-)
