The final picture shows an example of this week's comment drawing. I take care of my fans. Each week we will have a comment drawing. This week's prize is a Mia Bella Car Air Freshener. Scent: My Choice.

All you need to do to enter my drawing is to fan me (if you're already a fan, no problem) and comment on any of my listings telling me what is a "must do" family-friendly activity in your hometown. This could be the town you currently live in, or if you are uncomfortable with mentioning what town you're in, tell me a place to go in the town you grew up in.

These drawings are fun, you don't need any credits to win, and they will give us ideas of must-do activities as our family of 4 continues to travel in our RV throughout this great country.

Check the top comment for details on our trip, as well as last week's prize winner.

A must do family activity in Bethel, NY would be going to the Bethel Woods Farmer's market. It has a corn maze, hay maze, live animals, pony rides and carriage rides, face painting, a free arts and crafts booth, live music and some of the best foods, crafts and fresh produce in the area. Can also check out the Bethel Woods Woodstock Museum and the monument while there. Guaranteed to be a great time! :)

I live in Montgomery, TX The City of Montgomery is one of the oldest cities in Texas and considered by many to be the birthplace of the Texas flag. The Lone Star Flag of Texas first rose in Montgomery - or at least the idea of it did. It was a product of the vision of Dr. Charles Bellinger Stewart, a Montgomery postmaster and pharmacist and the first Secretary of State for the Republic of Texas.

Dr. Stewart was appointed by Republic of Texas President Mirabeau B. Lamar to a committee with Thomas Barnett and Richard Ellis to create an official flag for the Republic. Dr. Stewart sketched on vellum three rectangles of equal size, one vertical and the others horizontal. In the vertical rectangle he placed a lone star. The original drawing was not colored but Dr. Stewart labeled the rectangles blue, white and red. These colors signify loyalty, purity and bravery.Despite its relatively small footprint of two square miles, more than 55,000 people in the surrounding communities consider themselves residents of the historic town of Montgomery. Every 1st Saturday of the month in downtown Montgomery 10:00am - 2:00pm
College Street and McCowan Street
Montgomery, TX 77356 they have a farmers market and all the wonderful old shops which are mostly very old historical homes converted into shops and restaurants have their doors open and have special sales and small musical get to bands playing.
Also Located within the heart of downtown Montgomery, Fernland Historical park is a unique hands-on educational park, bringing samples of early Texas architecture together with examples of early Texas life. The log homes and cabins presented within the park are some of the oldest remaining structures within Texas.

The park is located within the heart of the City of Montgomery Texas.
Lots of fun things to do here come visit some time...Pam

Wow, this is a beautiful auction. And since I'm commenting anyway, fanned and the place you have to visit is Silver Dollar City in Branson, Missouri. Completely family friendly, tons of rides and you can watch people blow glass, make jewelry, make wooden furniture and even tan leather like the old pioneers did. Lots to do for everyone.

Nice auction :)! If you come to south west michigan there's a nice winery in Paw Paw called St. Julian's Winery. They give free tours and wine tasting, and they also have a large stock of sparkling juice for the kids so they aren't left out! We grow a lot of grapes here, and there are several wineries in the area and a Welches plant in Lawton, MI. It's too bad you missed the wine and harvest festival the second weekend in September! If you're nearby around that time you have to come to that!

Fanned and Watching. I am in North East Tennessee and I wanted to suggest if you make it this way, you must check out the Great Smokey Mountains. Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and Sevierville all have touristy type locations, but the best part is the quiet, scenic locations like Cade's Code. Great for family picnics and breathtaking photo ops eand you are sure to see deer, squirrels and maybe even a bear on your drive up. I wish you and your family many happy adventures in your RV.

In Livingston TX you've got to check out The Rock Shop in Indian Springs. You will find some very beautiful and unusual things there (take your camera) and the history behind how the place got started is interesting too. Also you may want to pack up a picnic lunch and take the kids by the Alabama Coushatta Indian Reservation but make sure you save room for an Indian Taco (makes my mouth water just thinking about it). Don't forget your swim suits, there is an awesome lake there for swimming and if you decide ya'll want to camp over-night they rent tee-pees and cabins as well as camp sites. If you like shopping, there are several antique shops in town too. If the family enjoys fishing check out over by the dam, my son always catches a mess of fish there. I hope you and your family enjoy your time here. Many blessings, cap159

Its so funny you live in Livingston! We "live" there too, but really, its only our address. They forward our mail to us anywhere we are on the road. We've been there a couple times though, doing Trade Days. The indian taco sounds awesome! We couldn't find a good "hole in the wall" to eat at when we were last there.

Very interested in this auction. I love making my own smell good stuff. I live in north western Pa and there is so much to do here. There is The Kinzua Railroad bridge and park. Many water damns and resoviors. The PA grand canyon and so much more. A great place to stay is Idelwood campgrounds. They can be found on facebook.

**I SHIP ON TUESDAYS**

Thanks for viewing this listing and (perhaps) entering the comment drawing! I love Listia, and we're having a great time cleaning out the RV by listing great items on here and turning them into gift certificates for yummy food on our adventures.

Who are we? We're a family of 4 (mom, dad, 12 yr old boy, 10 yr old girl...and don't forget Old Cat and Young Cat) on the adventure of a life-time: experiencing America in our RV. We never know where we're going to be, or why, but we're going to have fun (and troubles) along the way. Fan us and check our listings weekly for updates on our journey.

This week we were in Lebanon, TN for an RV get-together called a "Samboree". We were the youngest people there, as typically, rvers tend to be retirees. Well, that certainly didn't stop us! It was Fab 50's theme, and 10 yr old Sara was invited to join in part of the entertainment. They had a skit planned where they would give hula hoops to a bunch of older folks to try to do on stage. Well, Sara was called up to "show them how its done" after they struggled hysterically! Sara is excellent at hooping. We did a video and will put it on youtube tonight. (rvtravelwithkids).

Last week's winner: MoxieCat!

+++FIELD'S OF THE WOODS+++

Located in Murphy, TN. An unusal place hidden from the vacationing route. Points of interest in Fields of the Woods:

10 Commandents Mountain
Duck Pond
All Nations Cross - flags from most of the nations in the shape of a cross you drive through.
Psalm's of Prayers nature trail.
Toss donations into the baptismal pool.
Mountain Cafe
Hidden Treasures Gift Shop
Duck Pond

You can continue to Ducktown, Named after Chief Duck of the Cherokee. They have taken down the Totem and closed the souvenire store which sold indian dolls, tom toms, feather head dress, etc.

If you go the where the coal mine used to be they have a small museum and gift shop where you can buy al sorts of rocks, geodes, arrowheads, etc.

There is a bed and breakfast in town where I used to live with my grandmother and father. It's much beautiful since we lived there.

You can also go to the Hiawasse Dam. They give tours everyday I think. It's a beautiful lake just for looking and picnicing.

Your are also close to Cherokee tourism center. The have everything American Indian you could imagine.
