The original winner ignored the description, and the dresses will not fit her dog. Her credits will be refunded, so PLEASE READ. Winner, please reassure me that these dresses will fit.

I retired from breeding Shinese dogs (Pekingese + Shih Tzu) a year ago. I had plenty of brand new clothing in stock for presenting well-dressed puppies to their new owners. Now that I no longer have a need, I am happy to present nice, new selections to Listia members.

The generous leg holes measure about 6" from legpit to legpit. The dresses average 10-12" long. The dresses' styles are such that leg holes and neck holes are big enough to enable almost any small dog's neck and legs to insert quickly and comfortably. The hem of each dress should rest a few inches short of the tail.

I don't mind answering questions, but if you ask if these will fit your breed, I can't answer that. You must measure your dog and compare her measurements with those posted. I put dresses of this size on Shinese that weighed around 9-14 pounds. You must take measurements and weight into consideration when bidding for your dog.

I can say with certainty that the dresses are TOO BIG for a typical Chihuahua, Yorkie and similar tiny breeds. Those breeds would wear XS.

Most dresses do not have brand name hangtags but I believe that most were made by Simply Dog and LuluPink. Some dresses have the logo sewn on them.

All the dresses have enough stretch to allow for some growth. If your dog is an adult, the stretch will provide comfort. Speaking of comfort, I believe that their material consists of poly-cotton-spandex. That makes them washable and tumble dryable. As a precaution, use delicate settings.

The dresses come from a dog-friendly smoker's home. Dresses are stored in a bin in a non-smoking room; however, those with very sensitive allergies may want to reconsider bidding.

Questions & Comments

OK, Folks, I'm hearing from people who have 7-pound dogs. Those dogs need to wear XS. These dresses will be too big for that weight. How do I know? I have a Shinese who weighs 7 pounds. The dresses would fall off her. My add says, '9-14 pounds.' If your dog is smaller than the guideline, PLEASE DO NOT BID.

Ok I have a Chicaweenie ( Chihuahua , dachshund mix ) ;THEY should fit I hope as long as you saying 7-14 lbs . That would be great. They are so adorable. And my Ebony loves to dress up . F&W
