these seeds are about 1 year old now. they've been kept in a dry cool place. they've been stored the same as fruit&produce seeds are in the gardening stores.I just want you to know everything about these seedsI've never had papaya seeds that didn't grow. I've ALWAYS gotten a sapling fairly quickly!

There's a minimum of 100 papaya seeds.these will grow a papaya with red flesh.actually it varies from a reddish orangey color to a pinky reddish color to red. It's definetly different than the regular papaya everyone is familiar with which is a yellow/yellow orange flesh. I personally bought the red flesh papaya, ripened it, and ate it! After cutting it open I took the seeds from inside the papaya,washed them thoroughly as best I could so there was no flesh left on the seeds. I then carefully dried the seeds in the Hawaiian air. It took about 2 weeks.I've actually eaten other papayas, got a seed in my mouth, spit the seed into the dirt and before I knew it there's a papaya tree sapling growing where I'd spit the seed into the dirt.ive found that papaya seeds can grow easily without being properly tended and cultivated BUT if you tend to your seeds and give them a lot of the appropriate TLC, they'll produce fruit bearing papaya trees in no time at all!
